*Complete elimination of toxins
The manufacturing process of Portierra does not require
any use of hazardous chemical and synthetic substances
such as heavy metals - Chrome - , Amine and Formaldehyde.
In 2006, we obtained Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Product Class II.Portierra complies
with European tough standard, thus, promises comfort
and tenderness, should you wear next to your skin.
*As soft as Chrome Tannage
We use our special formula of the tanning agent for Portierra
keeping such softness, resiliency and warm texture as chrome
tannage, Portierra achieved excellent safety of human body
and environment.
*Wide variety of coloring
As you can see from the picture rightward, the original color
of Portierra is pure white. Since it is pure white before
dyeing, you can enjoy various beautiful colors and shades
just like painting on plain canvas cloth. - Unlike Chrome
tannage, which is difficult to get pastel colors because
of its original blue color of tanning agent. -
*Excellent Color Fastness
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 test certified not only Portierra's
safety but also its excellent color fastness.

Real Portierra is the
advanced Eco Leather Portierra. We further developed
Portierra
keeping our maximum attention to environment not only in
its tanning process but also in dyeing and coloring process.
*Portierra with eco-tone
eco-tone
a new technology of coloring - Global Patent Pending - was jointly developed
by Kurabo Industries Ltd. and Fukuoka Industrial Technology Center.
Through technical corporation of Kurabo Industries Ltd., we took advantage
of the technology of eco-tone in
the coloring process of Portierra. Besides Chrome-free, we established
completely new leather coloring method
with no use of chemical dyeing stuffs and succeeded in solving environmental
issues of dyeing process.

*Portierra with Botanical Dye ~ Natural
Dyeing Method
CIHON TEC Co.,Ltd. - Tokyo, President Mr. Keisuke Hishikawa - permitted
us to utilize their Botanical Dyeing Method - the new dyeing method using
natural
dye stuffs specially developed by CIHON TEC - in our Portierra.
This enabled us to dye our Portierra various natural colors with human
health conscious and ecologically friendly way.
CIHON TEC's Botanical Dye has already had an excellent achievement in
woven fabrics such as Cotton and Wool, knitted materials. Their technical
assistance is expected to give Eco Leather Portierra more and more potentiality. |
